1. Could you briefly introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Camille, and I am 20 years old. I started working at UNIQLO in May this year and currently work at the newly opened Nice store, which launched in August. I decided to work at UNIQLO because I love high-quality clothing.
2. What are the best-selling products in this store and across all UNIQLO stores in France?
Souffle Yarn, Cashmere, and Heat-Tech products are the most popular items across UNIQLO stores in France. Accessories and bags are also very popular at our store.
3. Are there any products exclusive to this store?
I recommend the Anya Hindmarch collaboration products and AIRism, which are special and unique.
4. What products would you recommend to a customer visiting UNIQLO for the first time?
I would particularly recommend Heat-Tech products during the fall and winter seasons. They are lightweight and very warm, making them ideal for sports activities as well.
5. What aspects of UNIQLO products do French customers most frequently ask about or show interest in?
Male customers often look for shirts, while female customers show interest in slacks, jeans, cardigans, sweaters, and Souffle Yarn.
6. Are there specific styles or colors that French customers commonly look for?
While UNIQLO’s basic items and neutral colors remain consistently popular, bright blue and red are also very well-loved by French customers.
7. What feedback do customers typically give about UNIQLO’s pricing?
Sometimes customers feel the prices are a bit high, but they also acknowledge that UNIQLO’s quality is superior to other brands. Overall, customers are satisfied and tend to revisit. Many also take advantage of promotions, which bring in a lot of visitors.
8. Which brands do you think are the main competitors to UNIQLO in France?
I think ZARA, H&M, and MANGO are the main competitors. However, UNIQLO differentiates itself by offering comfortable, long-lasting daily wear.
9. In Korea, UNIQLO offers free alteration services for pants. Are there any unique services provided only at UNIQLO in France?
In France, customers can have their pants altered for €3. While there aren’t any distinct services exclusive to France, our store is newly opened and offers a wide variety of products, which makes it a great shopping experience for customers.
10. Do you think French customers understand and embrace UNIQLO’s 'LifeWear' brand concept?
The younger MZ generation especially understands and appreciates UNIQLO’s 'LifeWear' concept. We also focus on providing customer service that highlights this concept.
11. What aspects of UNIQLO do French customers most frequently suggest for improvement?
Many customers request XXS and XXL sizes, which are currently only available online. We often receive feedback that these sizes should be made available in stores as well.
12. How familiar are customers with UNIQLO’s sustainable products and eco-friendly initiatives?
Customers are aware that sustainable products are reasonably priced. Some even bring unused clothing to the recycling bins in our stores.
However, some customers have the misconception that sustainable products are of lower quality or defective.
13. What do you think about UNIQLO’s potential for growth and future prospects in the French market?
I believe UNIQLO has great growth potential. French customers increasingly value high-quality products that last a long time. UNIQLO’s products, which often incorporate advanced technologies, will continue to gain popularity and love in the future.
